Good morning. Now that notaries have gotten the temporary green light
to administer an oath remotely to individuals in Vermont, I am emailing
to let you know that I would be happy to host an online meeting
explaining how attorneys can handle depositions remotely. I have
experience using Zoom and Gotomeeting specifically for this process
including marking exhibits and sharing documents during depositions
while making a record. If you are interested in providing an
instructional meeting for your members, I am happy to host. I do have a
limit of 100 participants at a time.
If you or any of any of your members have any questions about conducting
remote depositions, please feel free to contact me. I am willing to
share whatever knowledge I have.
Thank you for choosing a certified stenographer

As a fellow Vermont Lawyer, I want to invite you to become a member of the Vermont Trial Lawyers Association,* a non-profit corporation made up of lawyers who conduct trials in the State of Vermont. (See our website www.vtlassn.org)
The requirements of membership are:
1) you must be a licensed attorney in good standing in the State of Vermont; and
2) you must have tried one or more trials to conclusion - jury trial, bench trial, trial before a Vermont tribunal (e.g. workers comp) or other legal matter in the Vermont State or Federal Court system.
Membership is open to all trial lawyers - civil attorneys (personal injury, defense and plaintiff, commercial, divorce, probate, workers comp), criminal attorneys (prosecutors and defense) and all who appear before Administrative tribunals as well as any others who meet the above criteria.
For your yearly dues of $100.00 you will receive personal use of our logo and a link to our website, a framed certificate of membership as well as admission to the VTLA annual luncheon meeting - all of which are free to members.
